Providing a back-to-school refresher course for children going into grades 5-9 in math, reading, or writing.
Each package includes 3 sessions, each 60 minutes in length.
MATH
Review a wide array of outcomes from the previous year.
READING
Covering comprehension strategies that will be used in the upcoming year to help with reading, identifying important information, summarizing, inferencing and making connections.
WRITING
A quick workshop on the three purposes of writing (writing to persuade, inform, and entertain). This one includes a bit of home-writing following the session.

Every child learns differently, and sometimes a little extra support can make all the difference. I offer personalized one-on-one tutoring for students in Grades 5-8 in reading, writing, and math, with homework support available as well.
Each 40-minute session is designed around your child's unique strengths and learning goals. We begin with an initial assessment to better understand where your child is thriving and where they could benefit from additional support. From there, every lesson is tailored to build skills, confidence, and positive attitude toward learning. You'll also receive regular progress updates so you can see your child's growth along the way.
Whether your child needs help catching up, staying on track, or reaching their full potential, I'd love to help them succeed.
